Biography
Rebecca Rodriguez holds a Master’s degree from the University of Southern California. Her career includes opera, church music, orchestra, television, radio, and movie sound tracks. She has recorded for television and radio commercials. She has served in numerous church settings as cantor, choir member and soloist. In 1987, Rebecca was the principle cantor during the Papal visit at the Los Angeles Coliseum. She has also performed with award winning virtuoso accordionist, Nick Ariondo.
Ms. Rodriguez has won awards from Opera Guild of Southern California, the Viktor Fuchs Scholarship Auditions, Mu Phi Epsilon International Music Fraternity and the Los Angeles Hispanic Women's Council. She was on the voice faculty for the Pasadena City College-After School Music Conservatory. Currently she teachs voice and piano for Montebello Unified School District, Adult Education, music appreciation.
In addition, Rebecca Rodriguez performs with her cellist husband, Timothy Ogden.
